Getting My Color Back

In the palette of life, where colors blend,
I sought a shade, a hue, I’d lost, my friend.
I once was vibrant, once vivid, now faded and flat,
I yearned to regain the colors I’d had.

A journey embarked, with hope in my heart,
To reclaim the vibrance torn apart.
Through dusky shadows and somber grays,
I searched for the light to illuminate my ways.

The first brushstroke began with self-care,
Nourishing my soul, and relieving the wear.
Embracing laughter, with joyful tears,
I rediscovered the cadence of forgotten cheers.

And as I rediscovered the music within,
Melodies flowed, igniting a spark to begin.
I danced to rhythms, old and new,
In every step, the color grew.

The brush of friendship painted the scene,
Adding shades of love, vibrant and serene.
Hands held, hearts healed, connections restored,
A kaleidoscope of colors, we adored.

Nature whispered secrets, in a gentle breeze,
Unveiling the beauty, hidden beneath the trees.
Eyes wide open, I marveled at the view,
Each petal, each leaf, a hue so true.

Passions awakened, in whispers unspoken,
Unlocking the doors that were once broken.
Creativity poured from my fingertips,
Sculpting a masterpiece, from tender tips.

The more I embraced life, the more I found
Colors reflecting, like rainbows unbound.
From the depths of my being, they shimmered and glowed,
Radiant and resplendent, a story of growth.

Through the lows and highs, I learned to see,
That losing color is not a destiny.
For deep within, the palette’s true wealth,
Lies the power to reclaim oneself.

So I stand here today, with colors anew,
A masterpiece of resilience and hue.
I’ve reclaimed my vibrance, my spirit renewed,
I’ve rediscovered myself, and I’m finally happy with my beautiful new hue.
