Abused No More

In shadows’ grasp, innocence is slain,

A cruel world where childhood feels the pain.

Hidden bruises, silent tears, they cry,

Lost in darkness, wondering why.

Tiny hands that once reached for the sky,

Now clenched in fear, afraid to even try.

Trapped within a cycle that’s so vile,

A tender soul, robbed of its smile.

Oh, child so precious, fragile, and small,

Your spirit crushed, standing oh so tall.

But let me tell you, dear one, you’re not alone,

In your battle, may love be your enduring tone.

For there are angels amidst the night,

Watching over you, guiding you with their light.

Whispering hope, where hope has been lost,

Their wings extended, shielding the cost.

Let our voices rise, united, in outcry,

To break the chains that make innocence die.

Together, we’ll be bold, we’ll take a stand,

With love as our weapon, we’ll lend a helping hand.

Through education and empathy, we’ll ignite change,

Building a world where no child shall feel estranged.

Today, we vow to protect and defend,

The smallest hearts are too precious to comprehend.

May our hearts open wide, embracing their pain,

Offering hope, for their wounds to ultimately wane.

For every child, abused, neglected, or torn,

We’ll rise as allies, giving light to their mourning.

No child deserves to bear such a burden,

Let’s unite, their voices to be heard in unison.

And though the journey may be daunting and tough,

Together, we’ll heal, we’ll rise, we’ll say enough.

Child abuse, a darkness that must be dispelled,

By nurturing souls, and helping them excel.

Let love be our anthem, our constant refrain,

For all the children whose lives bear the stain.
