Let people go, set them free, for in their absence, we shall see.
The lessons learned, the strength we gain, when we release them from our chain.
For sometimes love can hold too tight, and hearts can suffocate in the fight.
To keep someone who yearns to soar, to explore the world, to seek out more.
Let people go, let them find their path, their peace of mind.
In their journey, they’ll discover
the true essence of who they are is uncovered.
There’s beauty in letting someone be, to grow, to change, to truly see,
The person they’re meant to become to chart a course toward a brighter sun.
For clinging on to what may not be right, only prolongs the pain, and extends the fight.
But by loosening our grip, we find release, and grant ourselves the gift of inner peace.
Let people go, but cherish the memories, the moments shared, and the laughter’s melodies.
For in our hearts, those bonds will remain, even if the physical presence wanes.
And if they’re meant to return someday, we’ll welcome them back, come what may.
But if they find their place elsewhere, we’ll hold them in our hearts, no need for despair.
So let people go, with love and grace, with hopes and dreams they need to chase.
For in their freedom, we shall grow,
and find the path that we must follow.

I wish my family knew this about me.

It is a delicate balance. Keep being true to yourself and the rest will fall into place.
